Maasai Mara National Reserve

Maasai Mara National Reserve is Kenya’s most famous and celebrated wildlife destination, located in the southwest of the country along the Tanzanian border. Covering approximately 1,510 square kilometers, the Mara is part of the greater Serengeti-Mara ecosystem, home to some of the most impressive wildlife spectacles on Earth. The reserve is world-renowned for the Great Wildebeest Migration, where over 1.5 million wildebeest, along with zebras and gazelles, cross the Mara River in a dramatic and dangerous journey between July and October.
