Amboseli National Park
Located in southern Kenya near the Tanzanian border, Amboseli National Park is one of Africa’s most iconic safari destinations. Famous for its large herds of free-roaming elephants and breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak, Amboseli offers a striking blend of wildlife, landscapes, and culture.
Spanning over 390 square kilometers, the park features diverse ecosystems — from dry savannah and swamps to seasonal lakes and woodlands. This variety supports abundant wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, and over 400 bird species.
Beyond game viewing, Amboseli is a place of rich Maasai culture and dramatic photography. The sight of elephants silhouetted against Kilimanjaro’s snow-capped peak is one of the most unforgettable images in African travel.
